GreenTech

 

Kadri Zeka University in Gjilan, which in the first year of its establishment became part of international projects supported by the EU under the ERASMUS Mundus program. It’s about the project “GreenTech: Smart & Green Technologies for Innovative and Sustainable Societies in WB”.

The main coordinator of this project is the University of Vigo in Spain under the guidance of prof. Ana Fernandez. Other partners in this project are: University of Porto (Portugal), University of Leon (Spain), University of Padeborn (Germany), University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), University of Economics in Katowice (Poland), University of Split (Croatia), University of Metallurgical Technology (Bulgaria), University of Sarajevo, Mostar and University of Zenica (B. and Herzegovina), University of Korca, University of Gjirokastra (Albania), Kadri Zeka University in Gjilan and University of Mitrovica (Kosovo), University of Montenegro and Donja Gorica University (Montenegro), University of Niish and University of Kragujevac (Serbia).

The Green-Tech-WB project supported by the Erasmus Mundus Program is focused on triangulation: higher education collaboration, research and innovation, and thematic areas of green technologies. GeenTechWB promotes European Higher Education Institutions as centers of excellence in teaching and research on green technologies and directs this excellence of the Western Balkan countries in order to contribute to their better governance and social cohesion, as well as to contribute to enhancing the region’s cooperation with the global economy.
