In the framework of QUADIC project the Coordinator – UKZ had a meeting with its partner – TUS

The Rector of UKZ, Prof. Dr. Bajram Kosumi signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Technical University of Sofia, with which UKZ University had cooperations also beforehand in Erasmus + projects. UKZ is increasing its cooperation still. During the meeting was discussed the possibility of creating joint technical programs, especially in doctoral studies, then the organization of joint conferences, exchange of academic staff and students, double mentoring for UKZ students wishing to study for a doctorate in this university, cooperation in the establishment of joint institutes, cooperation to obtain good practices of cooperation between university-industry and business, the continuation of cooperation in international projects, such as Erasmus +, Horizon2020, and other joint projects.

During our visit in Sofia, Bulgaria, we also met with two representatives from Sofia Technical University, with whom we discussed the QUADIC project and the planning of the next visit to Sofia, then the implementation of the project in the field of international cooperation and project development.

The QUADIC project is about capacity building for international projects, where the University “Kadri Zeka” in Gjilan is the project coordinator, while funded by the European Commission.
